KCN Dynamics
Networking and Financial Transaction Platform Design for a Members Club · 2024

Real Project Context
No UX Phase — Client's Decision
This project had no research phase and no Design Thinking process. The client had limited budget and time, and needed a functional platform in production as quickly as possible. The challenge was designing a usable, coherent, and scalable interface working directly from the brief — with no prior user data. The product has been live in production since 2024.
This case study demonstrates something a full-process project can't: the ability to make sound design decisions under real pressure, within the budget and time constraints that define the majority of real-world projects.
My Role
UI Design
Role-based system design
I led the interface design alongside a working team, owning all UI decisions, the system's visual coherence, and the screen architecture across user roles. I worked directly with the development team to ensure designs could be implemented within the agreed timeline.
The Problem
KCN Dynamics is a web platform that allows networking club members to conduct internal transactions, promote their services, and manage their business relationships securely. The previous product lacked sufficient transaction control and offered no differentiated experience by user type.
The client needed a new product that centralized transaction management, user administration, and business oversight — with personalized dashboards tailored to each person's role within the club.
Design Decisions — Screen by Screen
Without prior research, every UI decision was reasoned from usability principles, business logic, and requirements declared by the client. Here's the rationale behind each delivered screen.

Role System — Differentiated Design by Profile
One of the biggest challenges on this project was designing a platform that behaved differently depending on who was using it — while maintaining visual coherence across the entire system. Each role accesses distinct functionality and dashboards adapted to their specific needs.

Result
The platform was implemented and delivered to the client in 2 months. It remains live in production. The client received a functional product with a coherent interface and usable flows — within the real budget and time constraints the project carried.
There was no formal research — but there was judgment. Every screen has a documentable design rationale, and every decision was made from usability principles, not aesthetic intuition.
What This Project Demonstrates
I know how to design when conditions aren't ideal — which describes 80% of real projects. Limited budget, tight deadlines, and no user data aren't exceptions in this industry. They're the norm. This project demonstrates that I can deliver usable, coherent UI in production under those conditions, without sacrificing the reasoning behind every decision.
